New High School
Grant Program
From 2023-2024, YHS and the US Rugby Foundation operated a national program that provided seed funding to new high school rugby programs. This initiative successfully established numerous varsity and school-adopted club rugby teams across the United States, increasing access to the sport at the high school level.

Success Stories
Terry Matthews from Hudson Catholic Girls Rugby announced the graduation of four remarkable seniors from their Girls Rugby Team. Jordan Bates #10, will attend Montclair State in New Jersey and join their club rugby team, following the path of the 2018-2019 NSCRO Divisional Champions. Zoe Bozzone, #18, is heading to Fairfield University in Connecticut with both academic and rugby scholarships, joining a team that competed in the Midwest Regionals Championships.
Kayla Spiegel, #15, has committed to Emory & Henry College in Virginia, an NCAA Division 2 program, with academic and rugby scholarships. Alana Garcia, the dynamic #8, will be attending Marywood College in Pennsylvania, playing in the Eastern Pennsylvania Rugby Union as part of the NCR's Small College Division. “We are incredibly proud of these young ladies and grateful to USA Youth and High School Rugby for helping us open doors to these fantastic opportunities.”
