T1 Rugby is the official non-contact game, built by World Rugby to mirror the principles of the game. The game is fun, fast, safe, and easy for everyone to participate. It is inclusive across genders, easy to teach and referee, and playable on grass, turf, or in the gym.

What makes T1 Rugby inclusive?

T1 Rugby can be played across the genders, creates friendships, team connections and confidence, and has local flexibility where elements of the game can be adapted for local needs. It fits perfectly with new and existing rugby players and is rugby as we know it, without the contact.

What are the basic rules of T1 Rugby?

T1 Rugby is non-contact with 7 players, 2x10 minute halves, half a pitch, and touch or flag tackles.
